The 5p- Society will be celebrating its 25th Annual Conference and Get Together. What started out as a small informal meeting of about five families has turned out to be a large
conference of over 80 families. We expect record breaking numbers for our 25th Annual Conference and Get Together. Destination: Orlando, Florida . . .
home of Walt Disney World Resort that includes, Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom, as well as Universal Orlando Resort,
SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.
The conference will be held at the Orlando Airport Marriott. The room rate per night will be $109.00. The room rates will be good for three days before and three days after the
event, so that you can "play" in Orlando and extend your vacation without spending a lot of money at the resort hotels. The Marriott has a free shuttle to/from the airport.
The pool area is huge and will host our Friday Family Event. The event is still in the planning stages. Your host families will be David & Jacqui Galvagni (who also hosted Miami in 2000)

Registration for the event will begin to take place in March 2010. Registration costs will not change from last year. For a family of up to two adults and two children the rate will
remain at $150.00; each additional adult will be $50.00 and each additional child will be $25.00.
More will be posted in the next few weeks regarding the conference, including information about our Slate of Speakers, the Sibling Event and the Friday Family Fun Event, so come

MAJOR FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR THE 5P- SOCIETY AND THE CONFERENCE: 80/20 Raffle
If you haven't already done so and would like to help with the funding for the conference, the 5p- Society is having an 80/20 conference
where the winning ticket could get up to $10,000.00 Each ticket is $100 dollars and there are only 500 tickets to sell. You can
participate by either donating $100 dollars for your own ticket or selling tickets. The winning ticket will get 20% of the resulting
proceeds. The winning ticket will be drawn at the General Meeting of the Membership on July 31st at the Orlando Conference.
$100 seems like a lot? Try selling to 2 or 4 people (family) whom each can donation either $50 or $25; if that ticket is the winner,
then the pot would be split either two ways or four ways.
